Eye Catching

Another thursday class with lots of surprises.
After an inspiring and energy packed presentation, Leigh Clarke told us we were to take lessons learnt on poster design and create an A1 poster of our own.
We were to chose a political cause no matter how small or large, come up with a slogan, design it to be eye catching and bold, make it, have lunch and meet in a few hours.
Then obviously we walked down to the Imperial War museum, chanting that Bob the plumber was a liar and never came to Ashley's house on tuesday despite him waiting in all day for him. This gained a lot of attention. Mostly from school children. There we walked one by one down the path, stood beneath the cannons and shouted or slogan at the top of our lungs.
But our posters weren't dry, the wind was strong and we spent most of the time trying not to get paint on or wiping paint off each others jackets.

Note my face in this photograph.
Memorable day.
