Using the plastic vacuum press each of us formed a typographical jelly mould. To create the mould I used Bulsar wood, measuring and layering the pieces to create a harsh, stacked, sharp edged shape, which would contrast completely with the material to be used finally, the jelly . |
However, using such a shape proved difficult when attempting to remove the shape from the mould without splitting it. Which I did. In several places. So out came the tape and after setting, it really didn't look too bad at all. |
This project also meant all my housemate demanded jelly and ice cream after dinner last night. I thought, why stop there? So we had chocolate cake, jelly and ice cream.
