Typographic Jelly

Using the plastic vacuum press each of us formed a typographical jelly mould. To create the mould I used Bulsar wood, measuring and layering the pieces to create a harsh, stacked, sharp edged shape, which would contrast completely with the material to be used finally, the jelly .

However, using such a shape proved difficult when attempting to remove the shape from the mould without splitting it.
Which I did.
In several places. So out came the tape and after setting, it really didn't look too bad at all.

This project also meant all my housemate demanded jelly and ice cream after dinner last night. I thought, why stop there? So we had chocolate cake, jelly and ice cream.
