The weekend began with a few scraps with some concrete stairs.
The convention was held at the Brighton Race Course, not only did many tattoo artists come from around the world to ink up the public and show off their work, but many art exhibitions and events went down too.
My favourite of the weekend was the film on the infamous Norman Collins aka Sailory Jerry. A rustic, informative and endearing short film of the life, achievements, failures and friends of one of the most iconic artists of the realm. Plus we got a free glass of sailor jerry rum and ginger beer. Sorted.
Each artist was given a plain skull to design and was then auctioned off for charity. Some really fun and inventive work and all for a good cause.
Never miss an opportunity to snap some cupcakes.
Just some of the swish cars basking in the seaside sunlight.
We stayed with my lovely friend Charlotte who enjoys singing Queen songs in full during dinner. She also lives on the most colourful street in Brighton. Fact. Thats something I'd love to wake up to ever morning.
I saw some amazing work this weekend and am happy to be sporting a very sore yet beautiful piece of that work on my arm, saw slick cars and stunning views.
Yet this is the best thing i saw all weekend. Just some snails kinda hanging out on Blaker street.
