So i've never even been in a darkroom before until yesterday.
All i can say is seeing as it's open access at my uni, i'm going to spend the majority of the term in there now after such a fascinating workshop.
The subject of these photograms are obviously a pile of pants, but i put them up to show the vast difference and cleanliness of photograms done properly in a darkroom where you can control every factor so precisely. If i want to play around with moving the objects so i get that shadowing movement (as below) then I do prefer the darkroom, but to be honest it just doesn't compare the the individual quality of the home made ones.
I think it's funny that the glass pebbles came out looking like condoms.
I'm hoping to rent out the downstairs museum part of the little shop of horrors in the next few weeks as renting out the taxidermy and skulls individually is far too expensive. With what i'm learning from the photography department i'm pretty confident some sick images are going to come out of this project.
