More uni research for my current project. The brief was to research an area; either birds, insects, plants, shells and fish. I chose birds.
The final outcome had to be something that can be worn on the body. With the way my work was going, it had to be jewellery. I didn't really like the concept to begin with, seemed a bit girly and obvious, but after seeing this stuff my mind has most definitely been changed.
This one is a bit grim, but you get the idea.
This is my favourite, not actually wearing something dead but inspired by it.
By the way, it don't condone the killing of animals for collection or clothing. Found material is different however, and the scientific work is condoned only if for medical research and with humane handling of all living creatures. My work will contain no dead animals.
