Old family photographs (20's)

It's really handy that my best friend has not only similar taste to me but also a need and habit of collecting.
A year or so ago she began tracing her family tree, getting in contact with older and distant relatives in need of knowledge of the past.
One relative sent her boxes and boxes of old family photographs.
We sat down on a saturday night (watched Take Me Out and Cheaters, cos we're still modern girls after all) and sifted through them all to find those dated from the 1920's.

Here's a selection of the stunning images we found.

A pocket book on how to be a badass housewife.

As the photographs are old and curled it made it hard to scan them in straight.
I wasn't trying to be wacky with my layout or anything like that.

Thank you to Jesse Michael for lending me these gems, and for being a babe for the last 15 years of our friendship x
